Kennewick Police Arrest Man Suspected for Unlawful Imprisonment

From the Kennewick Police Department-

Defendant's Name- Andrew S. Krom   Age 22

Summary of Incident-  On August 16, 2014, Krom had left a threatening voice mail on Rachael Boatwright's phone stating he was going to kill her parents, family, and boyfriend.  Krom is her ex-boyfriend.  Soon after midnight of August 17, 2014 she met with Krom and did not feel she could leave Krom during their travels in the neighborhoods of West Kennewick.  At one point, Krom threatened to kick the victim if she didn't get back into here car during their travels.  Krom make additional threats as to the victim's boyfriend.  After about 5 hours or so, the victim was able to drive away leaving Krom behind in Richland.  Krom was located soon after in front of Target located on Columbia Center BLVD. and arrested and eventually booked into Benton County Jail on a 72 hour incarceration hold for investigation of unlawful imprisonment.  Additional charges of felony harassment will be reviewed by the prosector's office.
