Incident Summary:  YCFD5 units responded to a report of a grass fire threatening structures.  YCFD5 units arrived to find a grass fire fast moving with two residences threatened. Two Yakama Nation Fire Management units were providing structural protection. A burn out had to be done to protect one of the homes. Several cars burned and a large shop had some extension but fire crews brought the fire in the shop under control quickly.  No other structures damaged. 1 male was reported to have had smoke inhalation but refused treatment and there were no firefighter injuries. The fire was caused by a controlled burn that got out of control. Total loss was estimated at 11,500. The total value was estimated at 360,000. The incident was forwarded to YSO.
