Gang member wanted for shooting two victims in Wapato

Yakima County police want help finding a Wapato gang member wanted for shooting two victims.

Oscar Ibarra, 33, fled from the scene on Sunday night after reports of shots fired in Lower Valley.

He has an extensive criminal history and is considered dangerous.

Yakima County Sheriff’s deputies and Wapato Police arrived to find a 45-year-old woman shot in the shoulder and a 30-year-old man grazed in the arm.

Ibarra and Michael Allred, 37, got into an argument with the victims right before opening fire on them, police said.

Allred was arrested Tuesday at his Yakima home. Both have been charged on two counts of first degree assault.

The two men left in a black Volkswagen Jetta. The car has since been recovered by detectives, documents said.

Ibarra has tattoos on his neck, hands, chest, abdomen and a distinctive one on his neck.

If you have more details, call the sheriff’s office at 509-574-2500.
