Pasco Police are searching for shooting suspect, 29-year-old Kenyetta Turner.
Police responded to reports of shots being fired at the corner of East Butte and Douglas Streets last night around 8:30 p.m.
When officers arrived on the scene last night they discovered that multiple gunshots had in fact been fired in the street resulting in 24 year old Kennewick man being struck by a bullet in the foot.
The victim was treated at an area hospital for the non-life threating wound.
It took several hours for police and investigators to sort out what lead up to the shooting incident.
Victims and witnesses were not fully cooperating with police during the investigation.
What police determined was that an altercation occurred in the street between two groups of individuals.
At some point it’s alleged that Turner pulled out a handgun and fired randomly at others in the street.
Police recovered well over twenty spent casing from gun(s) being fired in the street.
Gang related involvement has not been determined or ruled out at this point.
The suspect in this incident was transported away from the scene as police were arriving.
It is alleged that 54-year-old Cedric Turner of Pasco transported shooting suspect away from the scene.
Cedric Turner was arrested and booked into the Franklin County Jail for Rendering Criminal Assistance, where he will remain until the incident can be reviewed by the Franklin County Prosecutors Office.
It is bleieved Turner is still in the area and police have cause to arrest him for Felony Assault.
Turner is described to be 5'9", 350lbs, black hair and brown eyes.
