Police catch armed robbery suspects snoozing in Walmart parking lot

KENNEWICK, Wash. - Police arrested a pair who they believe robbed the Porter’s gas station convenience store at gunpoint earlier this week.

The robbery took place last Sunday around 8:45 a.m. in the 4200 block of West 27th Avenue. Police said a man approached the clerk with a handgun demanding money.

Detectives identified the suspect getaway vehicle in the crime as a Chevrolet minivan.

Police got a report around 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday about two passengers being passed out in a minivan in the parking lot. It matched the suspect vehicle's description.

They identified Tyler Duvall, 33, and David Herzog, 23, as the primary suspects.

Both men were booked into Benton County Jail and charged with robbery.
