TRI-CITIES, Wash. — Many are ready to go the distance this Saturday to raise money for children road safety education and awareness.
Tri-Cities Community Federal Credit Union is sponsoring the annual Inland Empire Century 100 mile bike race and says it’s worth the sweat.
“I have kids so it’s nice to be able to stay fit, and be active so I can keep up with them. It also keeps me aware of their own safety and then by extension, the safety of their friends, safety of the kids in our neighborhood, and then the greater community,” Tri-Cities Community Federal Credit Union Loan Specialist, Trevor Galey said.
The race starts at 6:30 a.m. this Saturday at the Camp Kiwanis Building in Columbia Park between North Columbia Center Blvd and Edison Street.
There are also shorter races available.
