2 Kennewick burglary suspects turn themselves in

Two burglary suspects turned themselves into police Thursday after admitting they broke into the Super Mini Mart in Kennewick last week.

Police said Brandon Giovanni Medina, 19, and a 17-year-old Southridge High School student smashed a large glass window at the front of the store in the early hours of May 26. They stole several cigarette cartons and cases of beer.

Surveillance cameras show the suspects breaking in and coming out of the store multiple times with beer and cigarettes.

Photos of the suspects were posted on the Kennewick P.D. Facebook page, which led the suspects to turn themselves in, police said.

Medina turned himself in at the police station and the minor turned himself into Southridge High School’s Resource Officer.

Both confessed and were arrested for burglary.
