2 killed, left in a field near Moxee died of ‘internal trauma,’ coroner says
MOXEE, Wash. — An autopsy showed that two people who were killed and left in a field near Moxee died from “internal trauma,” Yakima County Coroner Jim Curtice said Wednesday.
Alyson Harris, 32, and Miguel Martinez-Vazquez, 24, had been missing since Dec. 21. Their bodies were discovered badly burned in a hop field in the 5600 block of Desmarais Road on Jan. 7.
Both Harris and Martinez-Vazquez were Yakima Valley residents.
The manner of death has been ruled as homicide.
