3 injured in icy morning rollover on I-82 near Kennewick
KENNEWICK, Wash. — Three men from Hermiston were injured in a single-car rollover due to icy conditions on Interstate 82 Wednesday morning.
Wilmer Deleon-Orellana, 29, was driving a Chevrolet Silverado pickup westbound about six miles east of Kennewick when he lost control and rolled of the right side of the freeway around 7:30 a.m., according to the Washington State patrol.
Deleon-Orellana and his passengers Sandro Hernandez-Torrez, 44, and German Orozco-Gutierrez, 23, were all injured and transported to Good Shepherd Hospital in Hermiston.
The driver was cited for driving too fast for the road conditions.
