8 charged with various crimes stemming from Walla Walla drug raid
WALLA WALLA, Wash. — Eight people have been charged with various crimes related to a drug raid at a home in Walla Walla.
The Walla Walla Police Department and regional SWAT team served a search warrant at the home in the 500 block of East Oak Street on Thursday Dec. 6 around 6 a.m., according to a news release.
Authorities spoke with nine people at the home and initially arrested four of them:
Donald Demaray, 39, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. He also had an active warrant for his arrest from the Department of Corrections.
Jessica Taylor, 28, was arrested in connection to previous crimes including possession of narcotics.
Ashlee Kveton, 39, was arrested for tampering with evidence and possession of paraphernalia.
Nathan Brown, 28, was arrested a few blocks away from the home on a felony warrant.
On Monday, the police department announced that four more people have been criminally charged as a result of the raid:
Cody Ferguson, 33, was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Stacy Cosby, 34, was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, illegal possession of a firearm and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Tommy Devine, 32, was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence.
Kolby Dewitt, 32, was charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and drug paraphernalia.
Together, they face a total of 13 charges. Everyone who was charged is a Walla Walla resident.
