80-year-old identified as victim of fatal crash near Dayton
DAYTON, Wash. — Troopers say an 80-year-old driver died in a crash early Monday morning.
According to WSP, just before 1 a.m., 80-year-old Marvin Vansickel was traveling in a freightliner tractor with a double trailer and was going west on SR-12 east of Dayton when he left the road and rolled.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers determined the cause of the crash to be inattention.
