The Air Quality Advisory for central and eastern Washington will be
allowed to expire at 10 AM. West winds across the region today will
lead to some improvement in the overall air quality. However,
residents living near actively burning fires may continue to
experience smoky conditions.

The National Weather Service and Air Quality Agencies will be closely
monitoring the situation over the next several days. Additional Air
Quality Alerts may be needed by the weekend as strong high pressure
and light winds return to the Inland Northwest.
