Briana Bermensolo returns home to the Northwest to join the KAPP/KVEW team in August of 2021 as the Chief Meteorologist.

Briana brings 15 years of experience in local news. Before coming to KAPP/KVEW, she worked as a meteorologist for WRC-TV in Washington, DC as well as WRC’s radio partner, WTOP. She moved to the East Coast for the first time in 2018, after spending 5 years as a meteorologist for KREM in Spokane. The Seattle/Boise native was also a weather anchor in Salinas, CA after anchoring and reporting in Casper, WY, and interning in Orange, CA and Boise, ID. She has family all over the Northwest, including in the Tri-Cities, and is very excited to be back home.

When not tracking the next big storm, Briana loves spending time with her husband, two children and two pups.
