Carissa Lehmkuhl is a born-and-raised Southern California girl, excited to experience the PNW. She was born in San Diego, and attended Biola University in Los Angeles, majoring in broadcast journalism and minoring in Spanish.

After graduation in 2014, she got a job as a part-time writer at KUSI in San Diego, where she worked her way up to a full-time producer position. Now with a couple years of producing under her belt, she’s excited to get out of the studio and try her hand at reporting.

In her free time, you can probably find her playing beach volleyball, running, playing piano, surfing, reading, or on a road trip.
