David Mann is a multimedia journalist who uses the web to share stories. He writes, creates videos and helps run things on the KAPP-KVEW’s social media accounts.

He grew up in Portland, Oregon as an avid snowboarder and science geek with a knack for asking lots of questions. Mount Hood will always be his home away from home.

He graduated from the University of Oregon’s journalism program in 2016. There he learned his way around a camera, combining passion for writing with captivating visuals.

David joined KAPP-KVEW’s news team in January.

As a lover of all things outdoors, with a keen interest in technology and local business, he one day hopes to create documentaries alongside covering daily local news.
