ORIGINAL STORY – If your Thanksgiving travel plans take you through central Washington, you’ll want to avoid Blewett Pass on US 97.
The Dept. of Transportation closed Blewett Pass early Wednesday for poor visibility and heavy snow.

These conditions are expected to continue throughout the day. There is no estimated time for when the pass will reopen.
