Moxee double murder suspect arrested

MOXEE, Wash. — Authorities have arrested the man wanted for killing a missing Yakima couple and burning their bodies earlier this month.

Jesus Antonio Perez, Jr., 20, was wanted for fatally shooting Alyson Harris and her boyfriend Miguel Martinez-Vasquez multiple times, allegedly over a cell phone. Their bodies were found in a hops field.

Perez was arrested on Jan. 25 and is being held in the Yakima County Jail on a $2 million bail. It’s not yet known where he was arrested or how.

He’ll be in court on Monday afternoon for his first appearance. Prosecutors charged Perez on Jan.13 with two counts of aggravated first-degree murder and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
