Breezy, mild start to your Thursday! -Kristin
More rain showers on the way today
Good Thursday morning!
It’s a breezy start to the morning with gusts up to 25 MPH possible. The winds are bringing in mild temperatures out the door with low 50’s in spots. Grab your umbrella with more rain showers possible. Highest chance remains east this morning, but will start to fill-in more around the Tri-Cities and north by lunchtime into the afternoon.
A Flood Watch is in place for the Cascades, eastern slopes and foothills of the Blues through Friday morning. With the rain and snowmelt, it will cause a rapid rise on area rivers. Impacts will be fast running currents, weak banks, rapid rise in levels, cold water danger and ponding in fields. Currently, there is a Flood Warning is in place for the Umatilla River near Gibbon until Friday evening with minor flooding possible.
