Breezy Tuesday with a few showers PLUS: Could we see snow chances next week? -Kristin
Wind gusts to 30 MPH with a few rain showers today
Unfortunately, no changes to these pesky winds today. The wind at times could gust up to 30 MPH. Most of the day will be dry with only a few rain showers especially by later this evening around 7 or 8PM. But, looking at another mild day! Starting off this morning with spots in the low 50’s. Close to 60 degrees by afternoon.
Snow levels in the Cascades are over 4000 feet this morning with rain in the passes. But, snow levels will lower considerably Wednesday and Thursday. Winter Weather Advisories and Winter Storm Warnings are in place until early Wednesday morning. Be sure to check pass reports if traveling through the mountains.
One more breezy day on Wednesday with wind gusts back around 35 MPH. Most of the day will be dry with sunshine out and about. Only a slight chance for a stray shower to move in late in the day. Small chance of a wintry mix in the foothills of the Blues by evening/night.
Dry on Thursday with active weather returning by Friday. Thursday night into Friday morning, we could see a wintry mix. Especially around the Yakima and Kittitas Valley. Turning over to scattered rain showers midday into the afternoon. Look for highs in the low to mid 40’s. The weekend will feature more mountain snow with a few rain showers popping up at the lower elevations both Saturday and Sunday.
Keeping a close eye on next week with much colder air settling into the area. And with the cold, we could see several snow chances ahead! This is still far out, but one we will keep you posted on!
