Car collides with combine harvester near Touchet, DUI suspected
WALLA WALLA CO., Wash. — The Washington State Patrol believes drugs or alcohol played a factor in a serious-injury collision after a car hit a combine harvester in Walla Walla County.
Washington State Patrol says the crash happened around 6:27 a.m. Sunday on SR 12 three miles east of Touchet.
Troopers say Mycheal Summers, 31, from Walla Walla was seriously injured after crossing into oncoming traffic and colliding with the farm equipment.
Summers was transported to Providence St. Mary’s Medical Center. His condition is currently unknown.
The combine driver was not injured in the collision.
Charges are pending for Summers, according to Washington State Patrol.
