Oregon fast-food worker accused of posing as deputy to get time off

ALBANY, Ore. (AP) - An Oregon fast-food worker has been charged with impersonating an officer after police say he threatened to handcuff his manager.The Albany Democrat-Herald reports the incident happened Wednesday, when the 30-year-old man told his boss he wanted time off. Police say the worker explained he had a second job as a sheriff's deputy and needed the weekend free to volunteer with Albany police.
