Waiting list grows for trauma-inforced care conference

The buzz phrase "youth mental health" is growing in popularity across the country. It's no surprise then that the 2017 trauma-informed care conference, "Beyond Paper Tigers," maxed out its registration numbers nearly two months before the June 28-29 event. Now parents, educators, mental health workers and law enforcement are clamoring to add their names to a growing waiting list for next year's conference.

Energy chief says hole has been filled at nuclear waste site

(AP) - U.S. Energy Secretary Rick Perry says a hole that developed in the top of a nuclear waste storage tunnel in Washington state has been filled.Perry announced Thursday morning that the 400-square foot (37 square meter) hole was filled swiftly and safely. He says the next step is to reduce risks at the aging tunnel.
