City of Pasco to discuss public market
PASCO, Wash. — Pasco city councilmembers will discuss the idea of a public market in Pasco on Monday night.
Developers originally sought a location in Richland, but city staff were concerned that funding needed would impact their ability to fund other public projects.
The two locations being discussed are downtown Pasco or the Port of Pasco’s marine terminal.
The city and Port of Pasco staff will focus on the steps needed to further explore the idea and which of the two locations proposed would provide a more successful public market.
