An Oklahoma state congressional candidate was caught on surveillance video taking his opponent’s campaign signs and throwing them on the ground.

KOCO reports video of candidate Tom Guild shows him getting out of his vehicle and walking over to a Kendra Horn campaign sign, pulling it out of the ground and tossing it. After doing the same with a few others, Guild can be seen picking up the signs and then walking out of the camera shot.

As a response to the video, Horn says she only wants to focus on the issues that matter.

Guild apologized in a statement saying the action was “a mistake on my part and I sincerely apologize.”

Both candidates are running as Democrats.
