Could we see snow flurries on Christmas Day? -Kristin

Happy Christmas Eve! A Freezing Fog Advisory is in place for parts of the area including the Tri-Cities until 10AM this morning. Visibility at times less than 1/4 of a mile. Watch out for icy roads. By lunchtime into the afternoon, a bit of sunshine will be popping out with highs in the mid to upper 30’s and low 40’s.

Christmas Day: There is a chance…yes a chance for a few snow flurries to pop-up around the area! Some of the latest model runs keep the area dry, but we might be able to squeeze out a few snow flurries during the day. Look for highs in the mid to upper 30’s.

A quiet weather pattern will set-up for the end of the week. Each morning we will have a chance for freezing fog with icy roads possible. By afternoon, a little sunshine returning with cold temperatures in the mid to upper 30’s.

A dry start the weekend on Saturday, but a few rain showers could move back into the area on Sunday.
