Crash knocks out power to 2,000 customers in Pendleton

PENDLETON, Wash. — Officials say a crash knocked out power to more than 2,000 Pacific Power customers in Pendleton on Tuesday.

According to Pendleton Fire & Ambulance, a driver knocked down a power pole in the 1400 block of Court Avenue. No other vehicles were involved and the cause has not been released.

Pacific Power said power is expected to be restored by about 5:30 p.m.
