Deputies investigating Kennewick woman’s unknown cause of death
KENNEWICK, Wash. — A 49-year-old Kennewick woman died Sunday morning of an unknown cause.
Deputies arrived at about 6:30 a.m. to find Katherine Lockerby on the floor of her bedroom with no pulse. Her daughter’s boyfriend Cody Moon, 26, was administering CPR.
She was found not breathing by her 22-year-old daughter, who called police and received instructions from dispatch over the phone.
At 6:41 a.m., Benton County Sheriff’s deputies pronounced Lockerby deceased.
Detectives who responded to the scene at the 203000 block of East 14th Place said there was nothing suspicious and no obvious signs of trauma to the body.
The cause of death will be determined once results toxicology results return from the Washington State Toxicology Laboratory.
Investigation into her death is currently ongoing.
