DUI suspect arrested after rolling car, continuing to drive with 3-year-old passenger
BENTON CO., Wash. — The Washington State Patrol says a 21-year-old driver suspected of DUI rolled her Jeep and continued to drive with a 3-year-old passenger until her Jeep got stuck on railroad tracks near Prosser.
The incident happened around 2:34 a.m. Tuesday on SR22 three miles west of Prosser.
The Washington State Patrol says the 21-year-old from Prosser left the road in a Jeep Cherokee and rolled the car.
The incident report states that the Jeep landed on its wheels, and the driver kept driving.
The Washington State Patrol says the driver continued driving until the Jeep became stuck on railroad tracks
The 3-year-old boy was transported to Prosser Memorial Health, but Trooper Chris Thorson said he was not injured.
The driver was transported to Kadlec Regional Medical Center for her injuries.
The 21-year-old faces charges for DUI and reckless endangerment.
