YAKIMA, Wash. — The final production of the Warehouse Theatre Company's 75th season is the Alfred Hitchcock thriller, The 39 Steps.Â
WTC is inviting people, with or without acting experience, to audition for the production next Monday and Tuesday (Feb. 27, 28). Auditions will be held at the theatre at 1610 South 24th Avenue in Yakima at 6:30 both nights.Â
"One lead actor plays one serious role, Richard Hannay, and then we have a lead woman who plays four different women from four different places on the planet, so accents are involved," explained Executive Director Vance Jennings.
"And then we have two people who will be cast, male or female, to play about 148-150 other characters. So it's a really great acting opportunity for those people to come out and audition and hopefully get a chance to tell that story."
You do not need to prepare anything in order to audition.Â
Performances for The 39 Steps will run from May 5th to the 20th.Â

Jill holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Theater and graduated from Western Academy Broadcasting College in 2014. She has worn many hats in various newsrooms; radio anchor, reporter, multimedia journalist and host. She is thrilled to add anchor to the list.
Originally from the Canadian prairies, Jill has quickly embraced life in the pacific northwest. She looks forward to exploring what the Tri-Cities and Mid-Columbia region have to offer.
