EWU offering incentives for vaccinated students, including a year of free tuition

CHENEY, Wash. — A lucky student could win a year of free tuition to Eastern Washington University, if they choose to get vaccinated.
EWU has announced a variety of incentives for both students and employees who choose to get a COVID-19 vaccine.
Earlier this month, the university announced it will not require students to get vaccinated to attend school.

In addition to free tuition, the university is also raffling off parking passes, an iPad Pro, athletics Adidas gear and front row seats to an EWU theater production.
Vaccinated employees will be entered to win other items, including season tickets to athletic events and tailgating passes.
Incentives will be raffled off every few weeks. Those who want to participate in the drawing will have to upload a copy of their vaccination record, which shows that they have received either one dose of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, or two doses of the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine.
