Families line up for the most anticipated trolley ride with Santa
YAKIMA, Wash. — Yakima Valley Trolleys is bringing the Christmas spirit to Yakima with their annual Santa Trolley ride.
The trolley ride starts at the Trolley station located at 306 W. Pine Street in Yakima. The ride is approximately 30 minutes round trip.
Guests will get to explore the town with Santa as a special guest.
Tickets cost $5 per person.
The first trolley ride starts at 10 a.m. and the last ride is at 3 p.m.
Gretchen Peterson-Lee has been riding the Santa Trolley since her son was two years old.
“My son loves coming here,” said Peterson-Lee. We both like it because Santa is really funny and he is always making jokes.”
Motorman Larry Fournier said the Santa Trolley is meant to be a family friendly event and encourages people to check it out.
“This is a fun event especially for the kids, it’s a Yakima tradition,” said Fournier.
The Santa Trolley will continue on December 10th, 16th and 17th.
