Fight leads to stabbing at Towne Crier in Richland
RICHLAND, Wash. — Richland Police arrested a 28-year-old man for allegedly stabbing someone after a fight at Towne Crier.
Shortly after midnight on Saturday, officers say Kevin Angelo Orellana was involved in some sort of disturbance with another man at the bar near George Washington Way and Williams Boulevard.
According to Det. Sgt. Drew Florence, Orellana and the man were in the outside seating area. Police say Orellana pulled out a knife and attacked the man. He was stabbed in the chest and sent to the hospital with serious, but not life-threatening injuries.
Florence said the two men reportedly did not know each other. The fight stemmed from comments Orellana allegedly heard the victim make to another person.
Orellana was booked for assault in the second degree.
