First Alert Weather: Rain and colder temperatures Tuesday, mountain snow overnight -Briana

Rain likely for the morning and evening rush hours. Mountain cold rain, then snow through tomorrow AM. Temperatures running 5-15 degrees below normal over the next couple of days. Snow levels will drop to 3,000 feet tonight in the Blues, 3-6 inches possible for the mountain passes of I-84. Expect mostly rain over the Washington and Oregon Cascades today, with an inch or two possible over Snoqualmie Pass tomorrow morning. A Freeze Watch for the Yakima and Kittitas Valleys tonight through early tomorrow morning, valley temperatures will range from 28-32 degrees overnight. The Tri-Cities will experience subfreezing temperatures tomorrow night…and the freeze watch will extend for the Tri-Cities as well Wednesday night-Thursday morning. Drying out Wednesday, sunshine Thursday and cool. An atmospheric river of moisture arrives Friday and brings high winds/heavy rain to the weekend outlook!
