Flooding continues today. Mountain snow ahead this weekend! -Kristin

A few rain showers will continue through midday with a little sunshine returning this afternoon! It will be a mild day in the upper 50’s. Some rivers have already crested and are receding. Here are the areas that continue to see major flooding:

Flash Flood Warning is in place for south Central Walla Walla County until 10:45AM. Emergency management reported that water will be released from Mill Creek into areas west of Walla Walla producing flash flooding. Areas that will be impacted include College Place and Garrett.

Flood Warning is in place for the Umatilla River at Pendleton until late tonight with major flooding occuring.

Flood Warning is in place for the Walla Walla River at Touchet until Sunday afternoon with major flooding occuring.

Flooding facts

Another front will swing through the area after 10PM tonight with a lingering shower on Saturday. Snow levels will drop with accumulating snow expected in the mountains.

Winter Weather Advisory is in place for the Northern Blues and Eastern Slopes. A Winter Storm Warning is in place for the Cascades. Please check pass reports before traveling!
