Food truck vendors wanted for plaza in Columbia Gardens in Kennewick
KENNEWICK, Wash. — The City and Port of Kennewick are looking for food truck vendors to fill six spots in its food truck plaza in the Columbia Gardens Artisan Village.
The port has been busing constructing what will be a food truck circle and two more wine tasting rooms for the village. It just recently started accepting applications from interested parties a couple weeks ago and extended the deadline to the end of the year.
Amber Hanchette is the Director of Real Estate for the Port of Kennewick. She said they will be picking diverse options for people to choose from.
“We’d like to see some variety down here,” Hanchette said. “We’d like to see some different menus but really it will kind of come down to who applies.”
Hanchette said they already have a committee in place to help pick which food trucks will be offered a spot in the plaza.
Anyone interested in applying for a spot in the food truck plaza can do so on the port’s website here.
