Former Eisenhower High student visits Yakima hoping to inspire youth

A Yakima native with success in the fashion industry came back to Yakima today to remind students to follow their dreams.

Isaiah Garza was once sitting in a classroom at Eisenhower high school and said he felt that it was time for him to give back to the community he grew up in, by reminding students that there’s more after high school even if it means leaving the Yakima valley.

“If I can just get one or two kids in that room and I can help them it’ll create a ripple effect a butterfly effect, maybe they’ll do good and maybe they won’t do so much harm in the world and maybe they’ll go out and chase their dreams, ” said former Eisenhower High student Isaiah Garza.

Garza chased his dreams of being a fashion and jewelry designer out in Los Angeles.

He has designed jewelry for celebrities like Kesha, Selena Gomez and Bella Hadid.

He has even attended the biggest fashion shows in Paris.
