Former Kennewick teacher pleads guilty to rape of a child
KENNEWICK, Wash. — A former Kennewick teacher pleaded guilty to third degree rape of a child and three counts of communication with a minor for immoral purposes on Wednesday.
The Kennewick Police Department launched an investigation on June 15 when rumors of videos involving former Horse Heaven Hills Middle School teacher Tonie Reibodlt surfaced, showing her engaging in sexual acts with students.
Police said Reibodlt, 43, allegedly had sex with a minor and sent explicit videos of herself to children under the age of 16. Some of the victims were past students of Reiboldt.
She will be sentenced on June 14.
