Franklin County detectives seize drug production evidence, items stolen from across Eastern Washington

MESA, Wash. — While executing a search warrant at a residence in rural Franklin County, detectives seized various tools, vehicles and items that were reported stolen across Eastern Washington along with evidence of drug manufacturing.

According to an alert from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, detectives and patrol deputies teamed up with Adams County investigators on this case. They explored a property on the 1200-block of Klamath Road near Mesa, WA on the morning of June 29, 2022.

Investigators quickly identified stolen items including a side-by-side ATV that was reported missing out of the Ritzville area, per Franklin County authorities. Another pair of stolen items—a full-scale residential heating and cooling system stolen out of Adams County—was recovered.

Tools that were stolen from a farming facility in the Connell area were found inside the structure, FCSO investigators said.

Incriminating evidence linked to the manufacturing of illegal drugs was allegedly retrieved by detectives at the scene. Several more items were located and recovered by Franklin County investigators, but the full list has not been revealed at this stage of the investigation.

Deputies arrested a male suspect at the scene of the investigation and booked him into the Franklin County Jail for two charges: Unlawful possession of a firearm and possession of stolen property.

Several others are being investigated in connection with this case, but no further details about the identity have been revealed at the time of this publishing.
