1054 AM PST Tue Feb 14 2017
…FREEZING FOG ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 PM PST THIS
* VISIBILITIES…One quarter mile or less at times.
* TIMING…Areas of dense freezing fog will continue until 3 PM.
The fog will lift in the early afternoon…then mostly dissipate
after 3 PM.
* IMPACTS…Reduced visibilities in fog can make driving
hazardous. Some roads affected include Interstates 84 and 82 and
Highways 240 and 395. Motorists should use caution as
visibilities can change suddenly. Temperatures are below
freezing and this fog can make roads and sidewalks slick.
* TEMPERATURES…mid to upper 20s.
A Freezing Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving…slow down…
use your headlights…and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
Also…be alert for frost on bridge decks causing slippery roads.
