…FREEZING FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 11 AM PST THIS MORNING…

The National Weather Service in Pendleton has issued a Freezing
Fog Advisory…which is in effect until 11 AM PST this morning.

* VISIBILITIES…One quarter mile or less at times.

* ELEVATION…Locations mainly between 1300 and 1900 feet.

* TIMING…Areas of dense freezing fog will continue until 10 AM.
The fog will lift towards noon…then mostly dissipate during
the afternoon.

* IMPACTS…Reduced visibilities in fog can make driving
hazardous. Motorist should use caution as visibilities can
change suddenly. Temperatures are below freezing and this fog
can make roads and sidewalks slick.

* TEMPERATURES…In the upper 20s.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Freezing Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving…slow down…
use your headlights…and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
Also…be alert for frost on bridge decks causing slippery roads.
