Fresh Hop Grants Awarded
The Fresh Hop Group has chosen 35 grant recipients to receive funds from the 2019 festival
YAKIMA, Wash. – The Fresh Hop Group has chosen 35 grant recipients to receive funds from the 2019 festival.
The non-profit organization that produces the annual Fresh Hop Ale Festival in Yakima, has announced that recipients for its grant program.
The program is designed to assist non-profit organizations in Yakima County have been awarded.
The grant program is in its fifth year and benefits Yakima County non-profit organizations with projects or programs that focus on arts and science.
Organizations are encouraged to submit applications for projects that allow the residents of Yakima County to have access to the arts, music and science-based activities.
Funding for the grants came from proceeds from Yakima’s annual Fresh Hop Ale Festival, which served record numbers this year in its new downtown Yakima location. The Fresh Hop Group awards grants in excess of $100,000 again this year.
The Yakima Valley Museum, The Seasons Performance Hall, Yakima Maker’s Space, Highland School District, the Yakima Folklife Association, Wenas Mammoth Foundation, Nob Hill PTA, Sunrise Outreach, Rod’s House, YAMA and many others.
