GoFundMe campaign raises funds for Grant County man’s funeral following tragic crash

QUINCY, Wash. — In mourning the loss of a beloved father and husband who passed in a vehicle collision in Grant County, a family has turned to its community to ask for help covering the costs of his funeral.

On the morning of May 13, 2022, a multi-vehicle collision including a bus and at least one more vehicle drew first responders from across Grant County to the intersection of Adams Rd N & S Frontage Rd NW.

It was initially reported that one person died at the scene and several more were injured.

Days later, a family friend named Brenda organized a GoFundMe campaign on the behalf of the Guerrero-Rendon family. One of the victims in that accident was Jose Guerrero, who died from his injuries.

He is survived by his wife, children, and other family members who are deeply shaken by this tragedy. In order to give their loved one a proper burial where the people close to him can say goodbye, the family is asking for the community’s help.
