Man Allegedly Steals $1500 of Items from Local Libraries

An overflow crowd filled the Pasco branch of the Mid-Columbia library to see the newly renovenated building.

The library underwent more than $140,000 of renovations.

Including new books, furniture, paint, bookselves, and carpet.

Today people were able to see it for the first time, visit with special guest Dora and Boots and possibly win a Kindle.

The city of Pasco plans on investing $15,000 into the library to pay for new exterior sinage, pianting and lighting.

This remodel brings the total investment by mid columbia libraries in pasco to over $600,000.
