Granger woman shot in the head, according to coroner

GRANGER, Wash. — Autopsy results have come in for the Granger woman killed in her bed after a drive-by shooting on Feb. 13.

Carmen Sanchez, 67, died from a gunshot wound to the head according to the coroner.

The Yakima County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone who has information about the shooting to contact them.

A church in Granger is holding Mass to sanctify the home with the family on Feb. 15.  They are inviting the community to come as support.
