HERMISTON, Oreg. — An outdoor event for all ages, the Hermiston Spring Bazaar is set to return on Saturday, May 15 for a full day highlighting the artistic talent of the region.

According to a release by the City’s Recreation Manager, the Spring Bazaar will operate outside at the Hermiston Community Center located at 415 S. Highway 395. Booths will open at 9:00 a.m. and will stay open until 4:30 p.m.

The Spring Bazaar will bring community members from throughout the Pacific Northwest who will put their art on display. Many of the items that you’ll find at the outdoor marketplace are unique, handmade artisan products specific to the participating vendors.

Examples provided by City of Hermiston officials include candles, soaps, clothes, bath bombs, woodworking, handcrafted home and garden items.

Entry to the Hermiston Spring Bazaar is free, though you should bring some cash if you’d like to purchase some of the unique products available at the market. It’s open to all ages, making this a great event for friends and family to safely gather outdoors.

Additionally, the Hermiston Art Festival is taking place on Main Street this Saturday. City officials say that the Art Festival is only a short walk away from the community center.

This Springtime event is renowned as the largest local vendor bazaar in Eastern Oregon and is being sponsored by Papa Murphy’s Pizza.
