2020 NFL mock draft: Two-round projections
Tua Tagovailoa made a wise decision to enter the 2020 NFL draft.
The Detroit Lions could benefit the most assuming the Crimson Tide’s signal-caller is healthy enough to survive the draft process scrutiny.
A healthy Tagovailoa will likely set up a bidding war for the Lions’ third overall pick considering early speculation has the first two picks being a mere formality.
A healthy Tagovailoa remains the top quarterback on my board despite the possibility he red-shirts his rookie season (there is typically a 6-to-8 month recovery following the hip surgery he had in November).
The NFL draft has become a nice appetizer before our main course in September. A mock version of said draft is meant to educate, and even entertain. At very least, it helps you pass the time.
This is an early attempt at identifying the best players available in this season’s draft class, and which teams they match up well with considering the updated draft order (according to NFL.com).
