Wsu Men’s Basketball Lands Top 50 Recruit In Diongue

Adrame Diongue made an official visit to WSU in late April.

PULLMAN, Wash. – Finally, some good for the Washington State men’s basketball team.

7’0″ center Adrame Diongue of Compass Prep in Chandler, AZ officially signed with the Cougars Tuesday morning. Diongue, a four-star recruit, chose WSU over Kansas, Texas Tech, Washington and a host of other schools.

Diongue, who is the No. 43 ranked college basketball prospect in the nation according to the ESPN 100, made an official visit to Washington State in late April.

Diongue’s commitment eases the sting of some recent departures from WSU’s program. Mouhamed Gueye, Efe Abogidi, Tyrell Roberts and Noah Williams have all entered the transfer portal or left the team since the end of the season.
