Internet, cable outage affecting Tri-Cities area
TRI-CITIES, Wash. — An area-wide internet, cable and phone outage has been affecting Spectrum customers throughout the Tri-Cities on Thursday.
The company says this is due to a damaged fiber optic cable. Crews are working to restore service to the area.
The City of West Richland, the Richland School District and Benton County Fire District #4 are among the agencies that have announced they are being impacted.
City internet and phone service is down. If you have an emergency including water and sewer emergencies call 9-1-1
Our internet and phone are down because of the internet outage on the area. If you have non emergency issues, please call 509-628-0333. If there&039;s an emergency, dial 911.
Our schools and district offices are unable send out or receive phone calls and emails at this time because of an area-wide Internet outage. Charter has informed us that they are working to restore service.
