Juvelines arrested on warrants, drug charges in Layton Park
KENNEWICK, Wash. — Kennewick police officers arrested two juveniles near Layton Park.
The boys ages 15 and 16 are known as prolific “taggers” or people who spray paint graffiti in public areas, police said Tuesday.
As police tried to contact them, the boys fled. They jumped over fences from backyard to backyard.
They were soon apprehended in the area of East 3rd Avenue and South Date Street.
The 16-year-old was a runaway who was arrested on two warrants. The 15-year-old was arrested on suspicion of trespassing, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
