Kadlec no longer accepting visitors until further notice
RICHLAND, Wash. – Kadlec Regional Medical Center is implementing a “no visitor” policy starting on March 17.
These restrictions apply to all Kadlec facilities, including when someone is in the hospital.
“In order to protect the health of our communities, and as a safety precaution to prevent the risk of spreading COVID-19, Kadlec is instituting additional visitor restrictions in accordance with recommendations from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC),” Kadlec said.
Some exemptions include children being admitted, labor and delivery and patients receiving end-of-life or palliative care.
“For these very limited exceptions, all visitors must be 18 years or older, and be free of cold or flu-like symptoms and not have a fever,” Kadlec explained in a press release. “To enforce these restrictions at the hospital campus, please know all visitors will be screened at the entrances.”
The restrictions all Kadlec location including the hospital, emergency departments, urgent or express care clinics, the imaging center, the surgery center and ambulatory surgery center.
